Saudi Arabia donates $10 million emergency aid to Ukraine

King Salman has directed humanitarian organization of Saudi Arabia to offer immediate medical and shelter assistance to Ukrainian refugees who have fled to neighboring nations, namely Poland, in the aftermath of Russia’s invasion.

The UN and the Polish government are working together on this project.

“King Salman authorizes KSrelief to offer immediate medical and shelter help worth $10 million to Ukrainian refugees in adjacent countries,” said a tweet from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center on Wednesday.

Supervisor general Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah noted that the monarch’s gracious decree was an extension of the Kingdom’s efforts to help the destitute and alleviate suffering all over the world. Dr.

More than 4.3 million people have fled Ukraine as of April 6, according to the UN and other assistance agencies, who are working together to help those fleeing the country. The bulk of the migrants, 2,514,504, sought safety in Poland, with 662,751 going to Romania, 404,021 to Hungary, and 401,704 to Moldova.
