A Spanish government official said that Spain’s Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, will travel to Kyiv in the next few days to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The officials could not reveal any information due to security reasons.

Spain also announced the reopening of Kyiv embassy soon in the near future.

The embassy was shut soon after the invasion.

The reopening will be “a new sign of the commitment of the Spanish government and society to the Ukrainian people,” Sánchez told Spanish TV on Monday.
