The Ukrainian Air Force and Ukrainian Ground Forces anti-air missile units destroyed 17 air targets in the last day, including three aircraft and five cruise missiles.

This was reported on Telegram by the Ukrainian Air Force, according to Ukrinform.

“The liberation fight against the Russian occupiers is approaching its 59th day. It was a challenging day for Ukrainian defences, as it had been on previous days. The Air Force’s military transport, fighter, bomber, and attack aircraft continue to operate in Ukrainian airspace, providing support and cover for ground troops and shooting on Russian occupying forces’ locations. And the state’s air defence system continues to annihilate the enemy in the sky “According to the statement.

The Ukrainian Air Force and Ukrainian Ground Forces struck 17 air targets, comprising three aircraft (preliminarily Su-34, Su-35, and Su-25), five cruise missiles, and nine unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) (presumably Orlan-10 drones).

According to previous figures, Ukrainian defenders killed around 21,600 Russian soldiers between February 24 and April 23.
