Ukrainian government announces curfews for Easter weekend

The increased attacks by Russian military, have led the Ukrainian government to announce new curfews for Easter weekend on Saturday.

The warnings from authorities have also risen, as the celebrations begin.

Many Ukrainians celebrate Easter according to the Julian calendar.

Easter is coming on Sunday, April 24.

Curfew hours will be in place from Sunday, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The regions include, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv and Kherson. These are the places where people are enduring the shelling.

Other regions, including Kyiv, will run curfews from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., from Saturday until Sunday.
