US Embassy: The Kremlin is propagating lies to hide its own army's war crimes

Russian authorities are circulating false information in order to conceal Russian army war crimes in Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, the US Embassy in Ukraine stated this on Twitter.

“To cover up war crimes, the Kremlin is propagating lies.” Keep your eyes peeled. Don’t be fooled, “diplomats from the United States wrote.

They quoted Russian statements that they are not attacking houses, churches, schools, museums, stores, or evacuation routes against the backdrop of photographs of Russian army destruction.

“Crimes are hidden by disinformation. Make a note of it. “Be vigilant,” the US embassy advised.

According to reports, Russian President Vladimir Putin started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24. Using artillery and numerous rockets, Russian troops have shelled and destroyed infrastructure and residential areas in Ukrainian cities and villages.

In Ukraine, martial law has been declared and a general mobilization has been announced. Russian invaders have been repelled by the country.
