Police in Los Angeles, California, are looking for two robbers who hit a woman running for aid with their car. An officer captured the woman sprinting into a busy street in broad daylight.

The victim left a jewellery store in the Jewellery District last week, and the attackers followed her in a silver Dodge Challenger.

The two robbers rammed the woman’s car before getting out and stealing her watch. In the video, a woman tries to stop a white SUV on the street.

Instead of speeding away as the SUV does, the Dodge accelerates and collides with her.

According to the authorities, the victim was just slightly hurt. The woman was allegedly followed after leaving the jewellery store.

A man sprinted from the Dodge to the victim’s car and shattered the driver’s side window. The woman tried to flee but was stopped by traffic. That’s when she tried to flee the robbers.

The man, one-armed, exited the Dodge as the woman threw her watch to the ground. One of the males was described as 511 cm tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black trousers, and a ski mask. He wore a black sweater and light-blue jeans.

As part of a disturbing trend in the US, suspects follow victims to their homes, businesses, or isolated regions and rob them.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has now established a special task force to focus on such crimes or follow-up robberies.
