Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky, wished Eastern Orthodox Christians a happy Easter. According to Ukrinform, the president’s greeting address has been published on Telegram.

Zelensky says in greeting that “At Easter, we beg God for immense grace to help us realize our great desire. This is yet another historic day in Ukraine, one that will usher in a new era of peace. And it brings with it eternal peace and wealth. I wish you all a happy Easter, and I do so with faith and confidence”

“One can remove the walls, but one cannot undermine the foundation on which morale sits,” the President stated in his greeting. Our fighters’ morale is at an all-time high. The entire country’s morale.”

“All Ukrainians must be saved!” Give us protection because we did not attack anyone. We have never destroyed other countries, so don’t let that happen to us. We didn’t take anyone else’s land, so don’t let anyone take ours. Ukraine must be saved! It’s right and left banks – at a time when we are being viciously beaten on both right and left cheeks,” Zelensky added.
