BAMIYAN, Afghanistan: Two children were killed in a landslide in the Waras region of central Bamiyan province on Friday, according to provincial administration official Sabour Sighani.

The natural calamity struck Kaftar Khan hamlet in Waras district on Friday afternoon, killing two sisters on the scene, according to officials.

It’s the second such event in the war-torn country in the last week.
