Cambodia’s anti-drug police arrested four foreigners on Thursday for making, possessing, and trafficking more than 40 kg of illicit drugs, according to the country’s Anti-Drug Police Department (ADP).

After a two-month investigation, the four men were apprehended on May 19 at two hidden drug labs, one on mango orchards in western Kampong Speu province and the other in a condo in Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital.

“A total of 40.5 kilograms of ketamine and 1.42 tons of its ingredients were confiscated from the suspects during the raids,” police stated.

The police also seized a substantial amount of drug-making and packaging equipment, as well as 11.5 tonnes of chemicals suspected of being used in drug production.
