The driver of a broken-down vehicle near Sheffield city center was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and narcotics.

On Saturday, officers were notified of a car problem on Hanover Way.

According to a police Twitter account, the motorist was accused of exceeding the prescribed limit for alcohol and drugs, driving without insurance, driving on a temporary license, being in possession of drugs, and taking the vehicle without authorization.
