A former Qatari princess was reportedly discovered dead at her house in Marbella, Spain.

According to the French newspaper Le Parisien, authorities discovered Kasia Gallanio’s body inside the property on Sunday.

Gallanio was the third wife of Abdelaziz bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar’s uncle, Abdelaziz bin Khalifa Al-Thani, 73.

They married in 2004 and had three kids, but after charges that he sexually assaulted his eldest child, they battled for custody for ten years.

He has consistently refuted the accusations.

Gallanio was denied custody of the three children, so they now live with their father on the opulent Avenue Montaigne, just off the Champs-Elysees in Paris.

Despite the fact that a post-mortem examination is still pending, preliminary investigations indicate she died of a drug overdose.

According to Le Parisien, her body revealed no evidence of physical violence.

Her ex-husband has lived in France since 1992, when he was exiled for allegedly plotting a coup against Qatar’s authority.
