India aims to launch 6G network by 2030

India is slated to build a 5G network soon, and it appears that the country has already begun planning for 6G.

The Indian government said today that the 6G network will be available in India by the end of this decade, implying that 6G will be available by 2030.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated the task group has already begun work on the 6G network rollout at the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) silver jubilee celebrations.

He went on to say that the deployment of 5G and 6G networks will not only provide consumers with higher internet speeds, but will also assist to create more jobs and accelerate economic growth.

He also stressed how India quickly progressed from 3G to 4G, and how the country is now aiming for 6G as the 5G network nears completion.

The government lauded TRAI for the faster and smoother technology transfers.

It claimed that the 2G era was a result of irritation and legislative stagnation, a swipe at Congress.

He emphasized the importance of modernizing the current network since it will enable greater expansion in agriculture, education, health, infrastructure, and logistics.

As a result, it is critical to roll out the 5G network as quickly as feasible.
