On Sunday, Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot and killed in the Mansa district’s Jahawarke village. The shooting event resulted in the injuries of two more people.

Only yesterday, the Punjab government reduced Moosewala’s protection. Moosewala was guarded by four police gunmen, two of whom were withdrawn.

The police believe gangsters were involved in the attack on Mossewala. Many musicians and Punjabi actors have recently received ransom calls from thugs based in Canada.

Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu Moose Wala, nicknamed Sidhu Moosewala, ran for the Punjab Assembly in 2022 on a Congress ticket from Mansa, but lost to AAP’s Dr Vijay Singla in his first election. Dr. Singla was recently fired from the Punjab Cabinet due to allegations of corruption.
