Man arrested for attack inside Bradford mosque during Eid festivities

A guy has been arrested after a man was stabbed during an Eid festivities at a mosque in Bradford.

The victim, a man in his twenties, was critically hurt inside the Newton Street Islamic Centre at Bradford.

Police said they were summoned to the site just after 10:00 a.m. BST and discovered the guy “seriously wounded with a bladed weapon.”

In the hospital, he is in serious condition.

West Yorkshire Police said a local guy was seized in connection with the incident and is still being held.

Both guys went to the Islamic Centre independently before the attack, and it is not being investigated as hate or terrorism-related crime, according to a spokeswoman.
