McDonald’s to reopen in Russia from June 12 under local licensee

McDonald’s Russia has announced that restaurants would reopen to the public on June 12th.

After the chain was sold to a local licensee, it will operate under a new brand that will be separate from the main firm.

The fast-food chain is selling its restaurants in Russia, because of the invasion of Ukraine.

It brings the country’s “golden arches” to an end after more than three decades.
