A day after police recovered the bodies of three sisters and their two children from a well in Jaipur’s Dudu town, body of a newborn baby was seen floating in the well as well.

Two of the women who allegedly committed suicide due to domestic abuse were fully pregnant.

Kalu Devi (27), Mamta (23), and Kamlesh were identified as the ladies (20).

Kalu Devi was the mother of the two children, one of whom was four years old and the other only 27 days old.

To add to the misery, one of the women is said to have given birth in the well, and her body was discovered floating on Sunday.

One of the sisters was set to give birth in a few days, according to the authorities.

The five bodies discovered yesterday were swollen and floating, according to officials.

The newborn baby’s body was not apparent during the search, according to the authorities.

On Sunday, when another body was discovered floating in the well, the police and the SDRF crew acted quickly to remove it.

Officials have been urged to cover the well as well.

Meanwhile, Meena Samaj chief Phoolchand Meena said that a few boys had spotted the infant’s body and reported it to the police.

Kalu Devi, Mamta, and Kamlesh were three sisters who married men from the same household.

In 2003, all three of them were married off as children.

The three ladies, on the other hand, were determined to make a living and worked hard to achieve this goal.

Mamta had been chosen for a police constable examination, Kalu was in the final year of her BA program, and Kamlesh, the youngest sister, was enrolled in university.

Their husbands, who had completed fifth and sixth grades, were said to be opposed to the ladies working or studying.

Narsi, Goryo, and Mukesh are said to have beaten their spouses while under the influence of alcohol.

Kalu Devi was allegedly thrashed by her in-laws and had to be hospitalized for 15 days, according to a local.

She had allegedly suffered eye damage and had recently returned home from the hospital.

According to the police, the youngest sister was recently beaten up when she spoke to someone on her cellphone.

“It is better to die once than to die every single day,” Mamta had said on her WhatsApp status the day before the event.

Kamlesh had posted a WhatsApp status claiming that their “in-laws” were to blame for the sisters’ decision to commit suicide.
