Officials: At least 9 people killed by shelling and air strikes across Donetsk

Russian artillery barrages and air strikes have killed nine civilians, according to the regional military administration in Donetsk.

Russian bombers bombarded the town of Avdiivka Tuesday morning.

According to Pavlo Kyrylenko, the chairman of the Donetsk regional military administration, a residential sector in the city’s center district was targeted.

He claimed that the same region had been hit by rockets on Monday night.

He said, “At least 3 people have been killed and 2 wounded and 8 houses damaged.”

Three residents were murdered in shelling of the village of Vuhledar, according to CNN.

And three more civilians were killed in shelling of Lyman, a town that has been seriously damaged in recent days.
