According to the Mirror, a visitor on the island of Bali fell more than 160 feet while attempting to take a selfie on a bridge.

The 35-year-old Canadian was seriously injured and was sent to the hospital. Eyewitnesses said he lost his balance before collapsing.

Local police, the public order office, the military, lifeguards, and locals all participated in the rescue mission.

“We immediately rushed our team there and we located the victim’s body at the bottom of the cliff,” Denpasar Search and Rescue Agency Head Gede Darmada said.

Due to the physical characteristics of the terrain, the rescue operation took about two hours, he said.
