  • Gaylyn Morris, 26, was arrested early Friday after allegedly using an Apple AirTag and GPS to track Andre Smith to Tilly’s Pub in Indianapolis.
  • She allegedly followed him to the bar, accused him of cheating on her, and then ran him over with her car.

An Indiana lady was charged with murder after she reportedly followed a guy she said was her boyfriend to a club using an Apple AirTag. She accused him of cheating on her, and then purposely ran him over with her automobile.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Capt. Don Weilhammer said of the incident. “This is when we need them to get involved and phone us with any information they see about this.”

Morris informed a witness that she was Smith’s girlfriend and that he was cheating on her.

According to an affidavit, the disagreement escalated when Morris swung the bottle at the woman.

Employees at the tavern then requested the trio to leave, according to the Indy Star. Morris reportedly assaulted Smith with her car at that point, according to a witness.

The probable cause affidavit claimed that Morris “pulled forward and clipped the victim (Smith), and he went down, at which point… (Morris) then backed over him and then pushed forward and hit him for the third time.”

Smith died as a consequence of being purposefully run over, according to the Marion County Coroner’s Office.

Morris was charged with murder, but the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will decide on the ultimate charges, according to the Indy Star.
