Legal difficulties of Katie Price are set to continue this week when she appears in court for the second time, this time regarding her bankruptcy.

The former £40 million star of My Crazy Life was declared bankrupt in November 2019 after amassing a £3.2 million debt.

She was due to pay £12,000 in arrears to her creditors every month for four years after entering into an individual voluntary arrangement (IVA) last year, but she failed to do so.

According to Metro.co.uk, a new hearing in the case will be held on Tuesday at the Royal Courts of Justice in London. Price, 44, is not expected to appear in court. The former I’m A Celebrity… contestant appeared on the show in February of this year. After reportedly agreeing to a last-minute compromise, the Get Me Out of Here star avoided going to jail over failed repayments.

Price allegedly agreed to pay a ‘small contribution’ now to lower her debt, as well as a new payment plan, according to the terms.

The star’s bankruptcy trustees were said to be interested in learning how much she was paid for recent work, including her Channel 4 program Mucky Mansion, in which she entirely renovated her Sussex property after it had fallen into ruin.

According to a source, “It was all very last minute but she wanted to avoid court. Katie does want to pay back the money but it’s been slow progress.”
