Six-year-old girl and her mother were gang-raped in a moving car after being promised a ride home by several males.

The men offered to transport the two home safely as they were visiting Piran Kaliyar, a sacred location in India’s Uttarakhand province, on Friday (June 24).

The attacker attacked and raped the two while the car was still driving, then dumped them at a nearby canal.

As authorities continued to look into the horrifying incident, the mother somehow made it to a police station in the middle of the night to report the gang-rape.

She was the one who named the claimed driver as Sonu, but no one associated with the alleged rape has yet been found.

The mother and daughter were taken by emergency vehicle to the adjacent Roorkee Civil Hospital, where doctors confirmed that both of them had been sexually assaulted.

In Hyderabad, India, a woman was arrested on suspicion of organising five men to gang rape her romantic rival.

Police have identified the accused woman as Gayatri. She was suspicious that her husband Srikanth had begun seeing the victim.

According to the police, she forced five of her workers to participate in a brutal sexual assault. She enticed the female victim inside, where she videotaped the incident.

She allegedly threatened the victim, threatening to post the video online if the victim called the police about the incident.

The woman was transferred to a private hospital by her family after suffering severe injuries. The family then filed a police complaint in Gachibowli.

Gayatri, Ulsala Manoj Kumar, 22, Syed Masthan, 25, Sheikh Mujahid, 25, Sheikh Moula Ali, 32, and Pridhvi Vishnu Vardhan, 22, were among the six people detained by police.
