After leaving Manchester United for the second time, Paul Pogba claims he wants to ‘feel loved’ and ‘enjoy himself’ at his next club.

Pogba’s contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of the month, and United confirmed last week that he will leave on a free transfer.

Pogba rejoined United from Juventus in 2016 for a then-world-record £89 million, but the Frenchman has generally underperformed for the Red Devils.

The 29-year-old is being linked with a return to Serie A heavyweights Juventus, however European champions Real Madrid and French champions Paris Saint-Germain are both interested in signing him.

Pogba informed the UNINTERRUPTED YouTube channel about his transfer aspirations, saying: ‘I simply want the best for me.’

‘I’m thinking, putting everything together, taking my time, and I’m just seeking for the best,’ says the player. ‘I want to play football, be myself at all times, and love what I do.’

‘I need to appreciate what I do because I won’t be able to perform properly otherwise.’ I don’t want to dwell on the negative. We can lose games and trophies, but what I’m looking for is for you to be happy and enjoy yourselves.’

Because of his uneven performances and perceived lack of drive by the conclusion of his second term at Manchester United, several fans had turned against Pogba.

The fact that the French midfielder has previously shown interest in a move did not help his case.

Many fans and analysts, on the other hand, sympathized with Pogba, seeing him as a world-class player who was simply a victim of United’s recent woes.

Pogba added, “Everybody wants to feel loved, everyone needs that in your soul to feel appreciated. Everything you do even when you grow up, when you do a good thing you like to hear “well done, nice.”

‘It’s always been like that, even adults need that. It’s always good to feel the work you do is appreciated that you’re doing well that people are happy with yourself.
