‘The Conjuring’ haunted house sold for $1.5 million
According to Global News, the farmhouse where the famed 2013 horror film “The Conjuring” was shot has been sold for more than $1.5 million.
The house was sold for 27% more than the original asking price. In the 1970s, horrific supernatural events allegedly occurred in the house with the Perron family, which were then dramatised in the film.
The film depicts a family who relocates to Rhode Island to live in their ideal home. However, the family soon encounters a series of terrifying events. As a result, the Warren family hires paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren to deal with the demonic spirits.
In Burrillville, Rhode Island, the house is located at 1677 Round Top Rd.
Murders and suicides have been reported at the location. Many people still believe this.
The legends, on the other hand, did not disturb Boston real estate developer Jacqueline Nuez.
The three-bedroom, 3,100-square-foot home was placed up for sale by Nuez, who asked $1.2 million for it.
According to Global News, the sellers, who purchased the home for $439,000 in 2019, made a profit of 250 percent on the resale.
