Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, the general counsel of Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) and a pro-Khalistan Sikh leader, responded to reports of an assassination plot against him by India, as exposed by the Financial Times (FT).

Pannu stated that the plot challenged Washington’s sovereignty and national security. The US government, acknowledging the seriousness of the issue, raised it with the Indian government.

Pannu emphasized the focus on organizing the American phase of the Khalistan Referendum, expressing confidence in the Biden Administration’s capability to handle challenges to American sovereignty.

The SFJ has called for protests against Air India flights in Toronto and Vancouver on December 1.
