On Saturday, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President, issued a new directive to bring in 1,000 Palestinian cancer patients for treatment in UAE hospitals.

This expands on Sheikh Mohamed’s earlier order to host 1,000 sick and injured Palestinian children and their families.

Today, the initial group from Gaza, comprising children and women, arrived in Abu Dhabi and was promptly transported to local hospitals.

This initiative is part of the UAE’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians affected by the conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.

In addition to these directives and humanitarian aid shipments, the UAE is actively engaged in relief operations on the ground.

As part of Gallant Knight 3 operations, the country is establishing a field hospital in the Gaza Strip and constructing three desalination plants to enhance the water supply for Palestinians.
