Saudi authorities issued a warning about thunderstorms and potential flooding in most regions of the Kingdom until Tuesday, according to the state news agency.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense has urged people to seek shelter away from flood-prone areas and avoid swimming in such locations.

Additionally, they advised the public to stay updated through local media and social networking sites for further announcements.

The Makkah region is anticipated to experience moderate to heavy rainfall, potentially accompanied by torrential rain, hail, and strong winds that may raise dust.

Areas that could be affected include Makkah, Jeddah, Taif, Al-Jamoum, Al-Kamil, Adham, Al-Ardiyat, Maysan, Al-Khurmah, Tarbah, Raniyah, Al-Muwayh, Bahrah, Rabigh, Khulais, Al-Laith, and Al-Qunfudhah.

The Riyadh region, as well as numerous other regions in Saudi Arabia, are also expected to be impacted by this weather event.
