In order to examine the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza brought on by the intensifying conflict, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Hussein Al Sheikh, Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, in Abu Dhabi.

The two sides emphasized the vital need for a consistent and dependable flow of essential supplies to the people of Gaza in order to address their immediate needs and improve their living conditions. The meeting was centered on the ongoing international efforts aimed at reaching an immediate ceasefire and protecting civilians.

The top diplomat for the UAE emphasized that the area is currently experiencing unprecedented instability as a result of extremism, conflict, and rising bloodshed. He emphasized how crucial it is for all regional and global initiatives to come together in order to establish a long-lasting truce and concentrate on improving the humanitarian response to the needs of the Gaza population.

Sheikh Abdullah further emphasized how critical it is to give talks toward a two-state peace agreement top priority in order to prevent extremism from fueling the region’s escalating instability and violence and to achieve long-term security and stability.
