Abu Dhabi to Close Roads on Monday for UAE Tour Men’s Cycling Race

Abu Dhabi officials have informed the public about temporary road closures on Monday, February 19, 2024, due to the UAE Tour men’s cycling race.

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) has specified closures from 12:35 pm to 4:30 pm in Madinat Zayed, Al Dhafra Region, for the first stage covering 143km from Al Dhafra Walk Madinat Zayed to Liwa Palace.

The closures will occur in eight phases, starting from 12:35 pm and concluding at 4:30 pm as outlined below:

-First closure: 12:35pm – 1:00pm

-Second phase: 1:00pm – 1:45pm

-Third phase: 1:45pm – 1:55pm

-Fourth phase: 1:55pm – 2:15pm

-Fifth phase: 2:15pm – 3:05pm

-Sixth phase: 3:05pm – 3:30pm

-Seventh phase: 3:30pm – 3:40pm

-Eighth and final phase: 3:40pm – 4:30pm

Runners and hikers will face equal opportunities, with four stages choosing runners and two mountain stages on Jebel Jais and Jebel Hafeet.
