On the Prime Minister’s directive, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) continues to send relief supplies to flood-affected Malaysia.

As part of the ongoing relief efforts, NDMA organized the departure of the second shipment of aid from Islamabad International Airport today. This shipment, which weighs 40 tons, will be sent via a chartered flight to Kuala Lumpur tonight.

Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs, Engineer Amir Muqam, and officials from the Malaysian Embassy in Pakistan attended the departure ceremony at Islamabad International Airport. Representatives from NDMA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were also present.

The relief supplies include tents, blankets, quilts, mattresses, and life jackets, selected based on the current needs of the flood victims in Malaysia.

The Federal Minister expressed solidarity with Malaysia, mourning the loss of precious lives due to the floods. He assured the Malaysian government and people of Pakistan’s full support.
