A big wildfire started north of Los Angeles and quickly grew very large, forcing many people to leave their homes. Strong winds and dry conditions helped the fire spread quickly.

Firefighters are already busy battling other large wildfires in the area. The new fire grew very fast and threatened many homes.

Many people were told to leave their homes immediately, and firefighters are working hard to control the fire. Helicopters and airplanes are dropping water and fire retardant on the flames.

The area has been very dry, which makes it easy for fires to start and spread. Some rain is expected soon, which will help firefighters.

Two other large wildfires in Los Angeles are mostly under control now, but they have caused a lot of damage and sadly, some people have died.
