Saudi Arabia’s authorities announced discovering 14 new oil and natural gas fields and reservoirs in the Eastern Province and the Empty Quarter.

On Wednesday, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, announced the discovery of 14 new oil and natural gas sources and reservoirs by Saudi Aramco.

These discoveries were made in the Eastern Province and the Empty Quarter. Among them are two oil fields and four natural gas reservoirs, along with six additional oil fields and two more reservoirs.

Prince Abdulaziz congratulated King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the discoveries, expressing hopes for continued growth and prosperity for the Kingdom and its people.

He specifically mentioned the Jabu-1 well, which produced 800 barrels per day of Arabian Extra Light Oil, leading to the discovery of the Jabu oil field in the Eastern Province.
