DOHA: Qatar hosted an Arab-Islamic emergency summit in Doha to discuss the ongoing crisis in Palestine.

Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani welcomed the leaders of Islamic countries and urged them to stand united against the atrocities in Palestine.

He said that Israel is carrying out genocide against the Palestinian people and has crossed all limits in committing crimes against humanity. He also accused Israel of violating Qatar’s sovereignty and regional integrity.

The Emir stressed that Qatar has made sincere efforts as a mediator to bring peace to the region. He blamed Israel for sabotaging the peace process by targeting the leadership of Hamas and spreading false claims about the peaceful release of hostages.

“Sheikh Tamim warned that Israel’s ‘Greater Israel’ agenda poses a serious threat to global peace. He called Israel’s violations of the sovereignty of regional countries unacceptable and condemned the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against humanity.”
