UAE Increases Petrol and Diesel Prices for October 2025
The UAE has announced the updated fuel prices that will be applied from October 1.
Super 98 petrol will now cost Dh2.77 per litre, up from Dh2.70 in September. Special 95 petrol will be Dh2.66 per litre, compared to Dh2.58 last month. E-Plus 91 petrol will be priced at Dh2.58 per litre, rising from Dh2.51. Diesel will cost Dh2.71 per litre, slightly higher than Dh2.66 in September.
Fuel prices had already seen a small rise in September after dropping in August. Economists point out that petrol prices play a big role in inflation because they directly increase transportation costs and the overall prices of goods.
Even with these changes, the UAE still offers some of the lowest fuel prices in the world, ranking among the top 25 cheapest countries. Petrol prices in the country were deregulated in 2015 to follow international market rates.
