Muslims eagerly wait for Ramadan all year, as it is a month of spiritual renewal, self-control, and closeness to Allah (SWT). It is a time of fasting, patience, and reflection.

In Pakistan, the spirit of Ramadan is truly unique and can only be felt. From busy streets and crowded mosques to long fasting hours and joyful family gatherings, the month brings blessings and cherished moments for Muslims around the world.

Ramadan is always a special time when families and friends unite for Sehri and Iftar, and communities embrace generosity and kindness. As the holy month approaches, many people are now wondering when Ramadan will begin in 2026.

According to calculations, Ramadan in 2026 is expected to start around February 18 to 20, depending on the sighting of the moon in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and other countries.

In Dubai and across the UAE, Ramadan is likely to begin on Thursday, February 19, based on estimates from the Emirates Astronomy Society. The society stated that the new moon will appear on Tuesday, February 17 at 4:01 PM but will set only one minute after sunset, making it impossible to be seen that evening. Therefore, the first fast is expected on February 19, subject to confirmation by the official moon-sighting committee.
