In a historic development, US President Donald Trump, along with the leaders of Egypt, Türkiye, and Qatar, on Monday signed a comprehensive agreement aimed at restoring lasting peace and stability in the Middle East.

The signing ceremony was held in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh and was co-chaired by President Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

Leaders and representatives from 28 countries and three international organizations attended the event, including Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. President Trump called it “a historic day for the people of Gaza,” saying the agreement would bring hope and stability to the region.

Trump described the deal as a major step forward and “a new dawn for the Middle East.” He credited Egypt for its vital role in helping make the peace accord possible, calling its contribution “remarkable.”

He also thanked all the partner nations for their efforts, adding that the agreement represents the shared determination of the global community to end decades of conflict and suffering.
