Job Description: Compliance Manager/MLRO Officer

Full Time Salary: AED 15,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager/MLRO Officer to lead our Compliance Department, overseeing adherence to regulations, legal standards, and internal policies. Responsibilities include enforcing regulations at all business levels, offering guidance on compliance matters, and ensuring familiarity with legal guidelines and corporate governance best practices. We require an individual with high ethical standards who works diligently to fulfill duties aligned with the business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal and regulatory guidelines and internal policies

• Evaluate the efficiency of controls and internal policies and improve them continuously
• Manage KYC on boarding for new and pre-exiting customer (KYC Refresh) by reviewing client documentation, vendor databases, and data entered into proprietary (CDD & monitoring of customers)
• Conduct internal audits and reviews at regular intervals to ensure that compliance procedures are regularly followed
• Train the employees on the laws and regulations, so there is no ambiguity in the compliance and risk for the jobs that they perform
• Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically as required
• Modify and implement company policies
• Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
• Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training
• Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
• Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate
