At least 20 cars were caught by the land sliding that occurred at Gulistan-e- Jauhar’s Munawar roundabout as heavy rain affects various areas of Karachi and Sindh.

SSP East Sajid Mir stated that the land sliding occurred near Gulistan-e-Jauhar’s Munawar roundabout and added that no loss of life was reported due to the incident.

SSP Mir also said that multiple cars and bikes that were parked there had been damaged as a result of the before mentioned land sliding. He concluded that nearby homes had been vacated as a precautionary measure to prevent any possible loss of life.

Khalid Hussain, the president of the union of Javed Hill View stated that there are about 70 flats in the area and around 28 to 30 vehicles had been buried including his own. The site of the land sliding was used as a parking space by the local residents.
