Traffic Police Gear Up For Action Against Vehicles Running On Open Letter

Karachi Traffic Police has announced action against all vehicles including motorcycles being run over the open letter in the city.

According to the spokesperson of Karachi Traffic Police, under the orders of Additional IG Karachi Ghulam Nabi Memon, from March 2, 2021, action will be taken against all vehicles including motorcycles in the city.

In this regard, DIGP Traffic Karachi Iqbal Dara has sent a letter to Secretary Excise Sindh.

DIG Traffic Karachi has asked the citizens to get their used vehicles/motorcycles registered in their name before March 2, 2021, otherwise, the traffic police will take legal action against them.

Earlier in December 2020, a threat alert has been issued for Traffic Police in Karachi, all deployed personnel have been directed to wear bulletproof jackets.

All deployed personnel have been directed to wear bulletproof jackets. It has also been directed to deploy an armed person for the security personnel. All deployed traffic police personnel have been directed to remain vigilant.
