FIA arrests human smuggler in Karachi

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Cell in Karachi arrested a notorious human trafficker on Wednesday.

FIA conducted a major crackdown under the direction of the Karachi Zone Director, aimed at apprehending human smugglers.

Acting on orders from Deputy Director of Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, Bahawal Ostu, a dedicated raiding team successfully arrested Ataur Rehman from Korangi Road area in Karachi.

Ataur Rehman was found to be engaging in the illegal activity of human trafficking.

The accused, operating in the shadows, was obtaining passports from unlicensed citizens under the pretext of facilitating employment opportunities abroad without the necessary permits.

The authorities recovered several passports from the possession of the accused.

The FIA spokesman highlighted that the investigation into the activities of Ataur Rehman has commenced, aiming to unveil the extent of the human trafficking network.

This operation signifies a dedicated effort by law enforcement to curb the illicit activities of human smugglers and protect individuals from falling victim to such schemes.
