The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration arrested two passengers from Karachi airport, trying to travel abroad with fake documents.

The suspects, identified as Zainul Abedin and Muhammad Akhtar, had recently visited Saudi Arabia for Umrah.

However, these individuals raised suspicion when they attempted to depart from Saudi Arabia to Bosnia using counterfeit travel documents.

After reaching Pakistan via an international flight, they were apprehended by FIA Immigration officers.

Investigations into their case revealed that the accused had engaged in passport tampering, particularly by tearing out fake visa pages.

It was further uncovered that these falsified visas had been acquired through an agent residing in Saudi Arabia.

Notably, during a thorough search, authorities discovered air tickets for their intended journey to Bosnia on the suspects’ mobile phones.

Subsequently, the arrested individuals were transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Karachi for further legal proceedings.
