Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration arrested a passenger at Karachi Airport, on charges of tampering with the visa pages of his passport.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the accused Naeem Akhtar had traveled to Nigeria using a Pakistani passport and a legitimate visa.

Subsequently, he attempted to reach Italy with an Italian visa obtained through an agent in Nigeria, at the cost of Rupees 2.2 million.

After coming from Nigeria to Saudi Arabia and then to Pakistan with a fake visa, the accused tore up the counterfeit visa upon reaching Saudi Arabia.

Naeem Akhtar, a resident of Hafizabad, has been handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi for further legal action.
