ISLAMABAD: The federal government has approved the relocation of the Federal Constabulary (FC) headquarters from Peshawar to Islamabad.

The decision was taken during a high-level meeting chaired by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi at the CDA headquarters.

Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, Interior Secretary, Deputy Commandant of the Federal Constabulary, Chairman CDA, IG Islamabad, DC Islamabad, and other senior officials attended the session.

During the meeting, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi instructed authorities to identify suitable land for the Federal Constabulary (FC) headquarters in the capital and also sought a master plan for the project.
