NEW DELHI: Indian cricket captain Suryakumar Yadav has come under sharp criticism after shaking hands with Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President and Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi during the unveiling ceremony of the Asia Cup trophy.

The moment, widely reported by Indian media, quickly went viral, sparking a wave of criticism on social media. Many users targeted the Indian skipper for the gesture, with one commenting that “shaking hands with Pakistan’s Interior Minister is the height of shamelessness.”

The incident has fueled debate online, with critics questioning Yadav’s conduct while others view it as a routine diplomatic courtesy during a sporting event.
