We have to control menace of corruption in Pakistan: PM

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that menace of corruption is the biggest obstacle in investment.

On the occasion of China Hub Power Plant in Baluchistan, the Premier said that this project is the first joint project of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and we are moving towards the second phase of CPEC.

He further said government is focusing to provide ease to the investors so the investors will attract and business will increase in the country.

Imran Khan said Baluchistan is the province is rich in terms of natural resources. In past, few people brutally looted the resources of the country for their personal interests, but now the country is moving in a right direction, he added.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived Karachi on a day-long visit.

The leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) also met PM Imran Khan.

GDA’s Moazzam Abbasi, who recently defeated Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) candidate in Larkana by-election, also attended a meeting with the premier.

Imran Khan also briefed about ongoing development projects in the city funded by federal government. This is the PM’s fourth visit to Karachi.

A delegation of urban transport company also called on the Prime Minister to discuss transport issues of Karachi.

PM Khan also chaired the session to make consultations over the issues of the port city.

PM Imran is trying to solve the problems faced by Karachi.

A copy of the PM’s Karachi visit schedule was also sent to the Chief Minister’s House but no meeting of the Sindh government representatives including the Chief Minister is scheduled.

Murtaza Wahab has also confirmed that Sindh’s Chief Minister was not invited to the Prime Minister’s visit to Karachi.

Earlier, he had also formed a high level committee headed by Law Minister Farogh
