American investigative agency FBI has warned the smart television users that if they possess a smart TV, it can spy on them while entertaining them.

According to details, smart TV remains connected with internet like a smartphone. Smart TVs can also be called an entertaining computer. Smart TV has its operating system whereas it is also equipped with microphone and camera.

It is found from the experiments conducted with the cooperation of FBI and private & government agencies that smart Phone has certain security flaws. Any hacker can hack the system of your smart TV by taking advantage of these security flaws.

It can be possible that smart TV can secretly record your video (through camera or microphone) and send it to any hacker while you are watching movie. Apart from that, it is also possible that hacker may invade your bank account while you are watching online contents.

A point has been highlighted in FBI’s report that security and privacy actions in smart TV are neglected. Therefore, they can be an easy target for the hackers. This is the first time that this threat has come forward. Hoping for the smart TV making companies to concentrate on this issue as well.
