Coronavirus in Pakistan: Nationwide cases rises to 730

The number of confirmed novel coronavirus cases in Pakistan surge to 730 after new cases have been reported on Saturday from many parts of the country.

Sindh is the most affected with the pandemic as total reported cases rose to of 396.  89 new patients who have tested positive with the virus in Sukkur, the provincial health department said.

 

According Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar, there are 137 coronavirus cases so far in the province.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health department confirmed that the number of cases in the province are 27 after 2 new patients were diagnosed. One of 2new cases has history of foreign travel while the other “is a contact of previously confirmed case”.

In Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), the total tally rose to 55 from the previous total of 30, as 25 new cases have been reported in the region.

Chief secretary Balochistan had reported that the total confirmed cases in the province had reached 104.
