China reports 12 new COVID-19 cases on April 19

The health authority of the country said on Monday that China has reported 12 new coronavirus cases on Sunday (April 19).

No case was confirmed in the last 15 days, the National Health Commission further said.

The four infected people are from province of Heilongjiang and one in Inner Mongolia.

China now has total 82,747 cases and 4,632 people have been died of the new virus.

China has approved human testing of two COVID-19 vaccines s to contain the coronavirus pandemic, Chinese media reported on Today.

According to the state news agency Xinhua, Beijing-based unit of Sinovac Biotech developed two vaccines in collaboration with Wuhan Institute of Biological Products under the affiliation of state-owned China National Pharmaceutical Group.

The coronavirus has killed over more than 125,018 people around the planet.

Deadly COVID-19 has reached every corner of earth and restricted the half of the population to their homes.
