Govt of Gilgit-Baltistan converts hotels into quarantine centers

Health Department has declared six red zones in Nagar and Skardu where large number of locally transmitted coronavirus cases were reported.

According to the details, Advisor to Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister on Information Shams Mir said that the department has declared 6 red zones in Nagar and Skardu.

He said that lockdown has strictly been implemented in these affected areas.

The government of Gilgit-Baltistan has converted hotels to isolation centers.

The Advisor said government has hired 58 hotels and arranged 1136 rooms for infected patients and suspected cases.
