Eid-ul-Fitr Moon not been Sighted in Saudi Arabia
The moon of Ramadan has sighted in Saudi Arabia. The first Ramadan in Saudi Arabia will be on Friday, April 24. Taraweeh will start from today only in the presence of a small gathering at two holy mosques due to Coronavirus pandemic. Apart from Masjid-ul-Haram and Masjid-e-Nabawi, Taraweeh prayers were not offered in any mosque across the Kingdom. Citizens and residents are advised to perform Taraween at their home.
Ramadan 2020: moon not sighted in Pakistan today
Moon of Ramadan 2020 didn’t sighted today (April 23) in the country.
Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee had a meeting in Karachi to decide about sighting of the Moon for Ramazan-ul-Mubarak 1441 Hijri or otherwise.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department said on Thursday (April 23) that moon of Ramadan was born on at 07:26 PST. The MET office also added that the new moon will not be sighted today (April 23).
The first Ramadan in Pakistan will be on Saturday (April 25).
