Operations against stockpilers, 70,000 sacks of wheat recovered

District Food Controller (DFC) of Hala city of Matiari district of Sindh conducted raid against wheat hoarders in which 70,000 sacks of wheat were recovered while more than 20 warehouses full of stored wheat were sealed.

According to the details, District Food Controller Nasir Kazmi along with Assistant Commissioner Abdul Karim Sangrasi, revenue administrative officer of Hala, Nasrullah Chawro and police conducted a grand operation against wheat stockists in Hala, Khyber, Oderolal and surrounding areas and raided more than 20 warehouses. 70,000 sacks of wheat have been recovered while warehouses  have been sealed

According to DFC Nasir Kazmi, food department has given them a target of recovering 1.5 million wheat sacks in the district for which 75,000 wheat sacks have been recovered while the remaining target will be achieved in a few days.
